Store, handle & transport dangerous goods safely

28 years

about us.

Bruce Armstrong has been in the Fuel and Oil Industry for the past 28 years. During this time, he has gained an extensive knowledge in storage & handling of dangerous goods, transportation of dangerous goods, occupational health and safety issues, and service station operations.

Employed by Ampol for 11 years, Bruce was placed in various
roles which included, but were not limited to, acting as General Manager for a country fuel distributor and State Transport Manager, overseeing a fleet of 42 vehicles, 52 drivers and 30 operational personnel.

Since then Bruce has worked for a number of privately-owned
fuel distribution businesses, including Dunning Petroleum & Caltex. During which time he focused on sales, occupational health and safety, depot & service station audits, general operations & management of retail outlets.

Bruce started conducting dangerous goods training in 1994, followed closely by AIP training in 1996 and has since developed a passion and enthusiasm for passing on his knowledge and experience onto others.

Courses are predominately conducted during the weekend; however, Bruce has now opened up the availability of mid-week courses to cater for the ever growing licensing requirements of the industry, and the much welcomed repeat business.

“Our courses are relaxed and informal, whilst covering all elements of the course requirements.” – Bruce Armstrong
